And then I knew I want her to remember that moment just like I remember it. And I will
remember it for my entire life. From that moment, I spent 51 day and nights trying
to draw my mother’s face. With my fingers blunted, with my shitty pencils
and paints and with my eyes closed time to time, I finally did it.
0 experience, 0 reasons to believe that I really have talent, a grace. A gift that can be offered to the
whole world. Then I knew. I knew that I want to catch every single emotion a human can
show me. Every tear, every smile, every fake smile. Every color of the soul, every
moment of hesitation and the most important: the look in people’s eyes.
You know. The eyes are the mirror of the soul. The eyes never lie.
